WHAT TO EXPECT

WELCOME

It is our desire that you feel right at home from the moment you arrive at our church! Our church family will do their best to personally greet and welcome you.

You can become familiar with FBC through regular worship attendance, but it is our experience that the quicker you get involved, the easier it is to get to know people and become a part of the FBC family. Here are some options:

 

• Become involved in a Sunday School Class

• Become part of a Life Group

• Attend a "Welcome to FBC Class" (hosted quarterly)

• Start attending a Women's Bible Study or a Men’s Group

• Visit the "Connection Center" in our lobby, or fill out a connect card online

ENTRANCE

The best entrance to use is door under the "Worship Center" sign on the west side of FBC. Once inside, there are Greeters and Ushers to help you find a seat or locate a classroom.

ATTIRE

You are welcome to “come as you are!” You will see a range of attire at FBC — from jeans to suits and ties, with most people somewhere in between.

CHILDREN

A nursery and toddler room are available for infants through age 3 during all services and Sunday School. Kids age 4 through Kindergarten are invited to participate in Children’s Church during the worship service.

COFFEE TIME

Immediately following the service, join us in the Fellowship Hall for a brief time of fellowship. This is a great chance to say hello, meet some of our church family, and grab a cup of hot coffee! 

PARKING

Parking is available in a lot to the west of our main building. If the lot is full, parking is available on some streets around FBC, as well as the Kwik Lube and beauty shop lots to the west of FBC. The ISU Extension lot to the north of the building is also available for overflow parking.
