Sarah Willey grew up in a Christian home in Indianola, IA. Sarah is married to Nathan Willey, who works for the City
of Oskaloosa as an Engineer Tech. Sarah graduated from Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN, with a Bachelors of Music Education with a vocal emphasis. While attending, she also completed 30 credits of Bible. After graduating, she subbed
in various districts in the Twin Cities acquiring part time music teaching jobs in the Anoka-Hennepin District. She sang soprano with a professional choir,
The Singers, as well. After working for the Navigators for one year at ISU,
Sarah taught all 7th-12th grade choirs
at Des Moines Christian School from 2010-2012.
August of 2012 Sarah married Nathan, which brought her to Oskaloosa, IA, where she substitute teaches in Pella and Oskaloosa in addition to her job at FBC. Sarah has a passion for the Lord and for music. She desires to instill that in others. As Worship Ministry Assistant, she desires to glorify Him and help the congregation worship Him through song. In addition to anything musical, Sarah enjoys cooking for people, reading, traveling, running, playing games, and a good cup of coffee. It is her desire that God alone may be glorified through her work at FBC!
